Description

Blessed Trinity Catholic School is looking for a 2025-2026 part-time (.5 FTE) teacher serving our 4th through 8th-grade students in the area of music and fine arts. This role serves as a specialist teacher conducting weekly music courses for students 4th-8th grade with a rotation of elective courses in fine arts for middle school (6th-8th grade). In addition, the music teacher plans and leads two concerts annually (Christmas and Spring), serves as music director for school liturgies and supports religion teachers in preparation for student-led Masses. As part of our Nicollet Campus team, the teacher will collaborate with 4th – 8th-grade teachers to create a dynamic learning environment that supports the development of a diverse community of learners. The teacher will be able to identify and support a wide range of learning needs and differentiate instruction to meet student needs, integrating technology as an instructional and communication tool.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in elementary education and/or secondary education, or music education, with a valid teaching license from the State of Minnesota.
  • Alternatively: BA/BS degree in music or fine arts with demonstrated experience instructing youth and/or adolescents
  • The ability to maintain one hundred and twenty-five (125) clock hours of continuing education every five years as required for licensing in the State of Minnesota
  • Compliance to all Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements including passing a criminal background check and credit report as requested
  • Ability to connect the Catholic faith to student learning in music and fine arts
  • Two or more years of experience, preferred
  • Training and experience working with English Language Learners preferred
