Job description

Asheville Waldorf School is seeking a Waldorf teacher to join our school faculty starting January, 2025. This is a ¾ time salary position.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have completed their Waldorf Grades or Waldorf Music Teacher Training and have experience as a teacher in a Waldorf classroom. Teachers new to Waldorf education are also welcome if they have a serious interest in developing themselves as a Waldorf music teacher. We seek teachers with a deep understanding of child development, an interest in Anthroposophy, a love of working with young children, and the enthusiasm and energy to be involved in the growth of a pioneering school.

Asheville Waldorf School:

The Asheville Waldorf School is in its thirteenth school year, offering two mixed age kindergartens, parent-child classes, and first through sixth grades.

Asheville, North Carolina:

Asheville is an ideal place to live, well known for its beautiful outdoors, surrounded by three mountainous National Forests, and its rich arts, crafts, and music culture. Asheville’s many restaurants and microbreweries make it a highly sought out tourist destination.
