Job Description

Velocity Music School is seeking a fun and professional part-time staff member to help administer our music school in Southwest Austin, TX. This staff member will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations.

The desired time commitment for this position is initially on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm, with potential expansion to Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greeting students arriving for lessons and ensuring that teachers stay on schedule
• Responding to scheduling-related phone calls and emails from students and families
• Interfacing with teachers to help them manage their student schedules
• Performing general administrative tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be organized, motivated, and possess a strong customer service mindset. An interest in music and music education is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay will be between $15 and $17 per hour, based on experience. A 401(k) with company matching is available after 3 months of employment.
