Job summary

You will handle end-to-end clearance, advise on licensing, and support cross-functional releases while upholding confidentiality and accuracy. 3-5 years in music licensing or business affairs preferred; strong MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of music licensing, legal, or business affairs experience.
• Working knowledge of music copyright, licensing, publishing, and recording agreements.
• Experience drafting and administering music-related agreements is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Rights Clearance & Release: Coordinate and manage music and video clearances with third-party labels, publishers, licensors, and internal stakeholders to secure approvals for releases.
• Contract Drafting & Administration: Draft, review, and administer music agreements (Sample Agreements, Side Artist Agreements, Label Waivers, and Soundtrack/Synchronization Licenses).
• Risk Assessment & Cross-Functional Partnership: Review video treatments to identify risks; partner with Legal and Business teams to resolve issues.
• Process Management: Maintain tracking systems and documentation for status, obligations, and milestones; suggest process improvements.
