Job summary

Menchey Music Service Inc. is seeking a part-time sales associate for our Timonium, MD location. You will help customers with instrument sales, band/orchestra rentals, and lesson registrations in a friendly, in-person environment.

Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED and the ability to play a musical instrument; knowledge of instruments and written music is a plus. Store duties include cash handling and customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to play a musical instrument.
• General knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sales of instruments, music accessories, and sheet music.
• Process band and orchestra rental contracts to make music accessible.
• Register customers for lessons and discuss the Menchey School of Music.
• Learn products and manufacturers and complete product training.
• Open/close the store and balance cash drawer as needed.
