Job summary

Pitt State's Music Department at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts is seeking a student audio assistant. Training will be provided, and you must be available for all concerts and dress rehearsals. Work-study eligible candidates encouraged to apply.

You will Set up microphones, cables and recording gear, adjust recording levels for quality, monitor equipment during performances, and deliver recordings to ensemble directors promptly after each concert.

Job description

Assist with audio recording of all Music Department concerts at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. You will receive training on the equipment and on-the-job training as needed. Must be available for for all concerts and dress rehearsals. Must be dependable and reliable, communication skills are required. Job includes: setting up microphones, cables, and equipment, setting recording levels for audio quality, and monitoring equipment during performances. Students will also work with ensemble directors to provide recordings in a timely manner after each concert.

Must be eligible for work study.
