Job summary

The Orchard invites a Coordinator, Publishing Services to join our New York team and support day-to-day publishing operations for a portfolio of client labels. You will onboard clients, demo technology, register songs, and handle publishing statements with a focus on accuracy and timely responses.

To succeed, you should have strong Excel and Google Suite skills, experience with music publishing, and an ability to manage large datasets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of music publishing and ability to interface with clients.
• Strong command of large datasets with attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel and Google Suite; organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Publishing Administration onboarding process for clients and field inquiries related to song registrations, licensing opportunities and publishing accounting statements
• Demonstrate The Orchard’s Publishing Service tech solutions to clients
• Ingest new client catalogs into Orchard databases
• Execute quality assurance on song metadata delivered by clients
• Coordinate with client teams and Sony Music Publishing affiliates to track catalog registration and client development initiatives
• Support day-to-day activity for assigned client base and respond to ad-hoc inquiries
