Job summary

Guitar Center in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Lessons Lead to drive the lesson program, sell packages, and guide customers through our facilities. You will coordinate lesson schedules with instructors, help parents and students, and promote curriculum sales.

The role emphasizes customer service, organization, and leadership within a busy retail environment. Responsibilities include increasing student count, supervising schedules, and ensuring smooth operation of the lesson and rehearsal spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in musical instruction (admin, retail non-instruction, etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Sell lesson and rehearsal packages and assist customers with questions.
• Provide tours of the Lessons facility and ensure a great customer experience.
• Increase student count by driving and maintaining sales and promotional programs.
• Coordinate lessons schedules with instructor availability and maintain curriculum sales.
• Ensure systems are functioning properly and support instructors and students as needed.
