Youth Music Project is seeking substitute instructors to share musical skills with kids and teens aged 1-18, helping grow musicianship and social-emotional skills. The role includes private lessons, group classes, and potential camps. You’ll support teen interns, collaborate with instructors, and prepare materials for performances.
Strong instrument skills and youth education experience are essential. On-site in West Linn, OR with some virtual offerings; schedule includes weekdays and Saturdays.

Youth Music Project calls home a vibrant, ADA-accessible, state‑of‑the‑art facility renovated specifically for music education and performance in the historic Willamette District of West Linn, OR. Majority of lessons are on site; some may be provided virtually. Additional programs available through partnership with Lake Oswego Park and Rec Dept.

This job is primarily performed in a classroom environment, that involves stationary (sitting) work approximately 50% of the time and requires ambulating the remainder of the time; requires regular and frequent musical instrument work and work with other office equipment; frequent communication with staff, students, and the public, and occasional lifting or moving of up to 40-45 pounds.
