Allegra School of Music and Arts is seeking Private Strings Instructors to build a full teaching schedule in a fast-growing, reputable music school near Hillsborough, NJ. The position is part-time with opportunities for a larger schedule based on performance and student demand.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the director in regular meetings.

We currently have immediate openings for Private Strings Instructors (violin, cello, viola, upright bass, etc) looking to build a full schedule in a friendly and fast growing music school with a reputation for providing instructional excellence.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a teaching plan in line with the school’s rigorous yet flexible teaching methodology. The plan will be fundamental to providing knowledge and instruction while also helping students develop their love of music. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to make learning an easy and meaningful process.
