Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking part-time affiliate faculty to provide studio or classroom instruction in music, primarily in-person, on a per credit hour basis. Faculty will teach assigned classes, prepare lesson plans, and offer timely feedback to students.
Qualified candidates with a Master’s degree in Music or a Bachelor’s degree plus local recognition are welcome, with ABD or further study preferred. Salary is set per credit hour, with an emphasis on campus engagement.
Part‑time affiliate faculty teaching positions in the Department of Music at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Faculty are invited to provide studio and/or classroom instruction, primarily in‑person, on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually semester‑by‑semester. They are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University’s benefit program and are dependent on budget and enrollment. Qualified candidates are expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
Pay per credit hour ranges between $1,264 and $1,482, with the final rate determined by university policy.
