Job summary

Queens Museum in Corona, NY seeks a Special Events Coordinator to develop and oversee the space rental program, coordinate private and corporate events and fundraising activities. You will work with the Development team and external clients to maximize earned revenue while ensuring high-quality guest experiences.

The role requires 3+ years nonprofit fundraising and event planning, onsite availability mornings, evenings, weekends, and proficiency with donor CRM tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years nonprofit fundraising and event planning experience.
• Experience with space rentals and donor programs.
• Proficient with fundraising CRM tools and donor analytics.
• Onsite availability mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of Special Events, Rentals, Fundraising Events, and Annual Programs.
• Develop relationships with preferred caterers and vendors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for donors, vendors, and rental clients.
• Manage event calendars, contracts, permits, and insurance compliance.
• Coordinate production details: pre-event planning, floor plans, catering, AV, signage, staffing.
