Job summary

The Museum seeks a Security Officer to patrol, observe, and monitor the facility, reporting irregularities and damages while ensuring guests feel safe and receive excellent service.

You will work with security staff, Denver Police, museum teams, and guests; complete incident reports, monitor CCTV, and respond to emergencies. This is a full-time role with a varied schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of security, military, or similar experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain Denver Security License within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Observes, patrols, monitors, and controls access to the Museum facility.
• Reports safety and security discrepancies promptly.
• Dispatches officers and coordinates with emergency responders.
• Responds quickly to incidents and assists guests and staff.
• Communicates clearly with guests, staff, and police as appropriate.
• Maintains training certifications (First Aid and CPR) annually.
