The Sankofa Mobile Museum in Prince George’s County seeks staff to guide visitors through immersive historical experiences, balancing dialogue with hands-on learning, during field trips and community events.
We value applicants with at least two years of public-facing work, English proficiency, and comfort speaking to crowds. Duties include coordinating programs, maintaining safety, and collaborating with the Sankofa team.
The Sankofa Mobile Museum is a dynamic, interactive historical experience within the Natural and Historical Resources Division (NHRD) of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County. Specifically, they will enhance the visitor experience, in both quality and quantity; leave a legacy by transforming education into advocacy; strengthen inclusivity, diversity, and belonging; and act with integrity, respect, and trust.
