Job summary

The Head of Exhibition Design at National Museum of Wildlife Art leads the Exhibition Design Department, overseeing exhibition and graphic design across the museum, campus, and affiliates. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, fine arts, art history, or related field.
• Ten years of art museum experience with a proven track record of successfully planning and implementing highly complex design projects.
• Prior managerial experience is required.
• Advanced technical expertise in museum exhibition design and creating innovative visitor experiences.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Vectorworks, SketchUp, Rhino, and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a department of exhibition designers and graphic designers to high standards.
• Oversee design development for a portfolio of 30+ concurrent projects including exhibitions and institutional initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and refine design standards across the museum campus and ensure brand consistency.
• Present concepts and plans to executive leadership and external partners.
• Manage budgets, timetables, and performance metrics; conduct post-project evaluations.
