Job summary

The Cincinnati Art Museum is seeking a full-time Custodian to provide cleaning and sanitation of the museum building and assist with furniture moving and event setup. You will also help with deliveries to the museum warehouse and set up/tear down events, ensuring a clean, healthy, and safe environment for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, galleries, office areas, café, auditoriums, entrances, and outside areas.
• Transport, set up, and tear down event furniture and accessories; remove trash and clean after events.
• Maintain floors through vacuuming, damp mopping, waxing, and buffing of hard surfaces.
• Handle appropriate supplies and products for various duties.
• Perform labor-intensive tasks including furniture moving and pickups/deliveries for CAM departments.
• Handle outside pickups and deliveries using museum vehicles or rented equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
