Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis's Kemper Art Museum seeks a Communications Specialist who will lead content development for marketing communications, telling the museum's story across social, web, print, and email channels.

Collaborating with the Sam Fox School and university offices, you will align tone and messaging, manage external designers, and coordinate with press to expand the museum's reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Experience in art, museum, or cultural communications preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of marketing content for the Museum across platforms.
• Write, edit, and proofread promotional assets for exhibitions, programs, and materials.
• Collaborate with the Head of Publications and other teams on content strategy.
• Oversee external graphic designers and coordinate printers for print materials.
• Develop, update, and distribute content production schedules among stakeholders.
