Phoenix VA Radiology Service is seeking a Board-Certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist with a combination of General Radiology (No Mammo required) skill set. New Fellows and 2025 Graduates are encouraged to apply!

The Radiology Service at the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona provides Radiology subspecialty services, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services to Veterans across central Arizona. The Radiology Service is one of the largest clinical departments at PVAHCS with over 130 employees in 9 specialty divisions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform joint injections, arthrograms, and joint aspirations.
  • Maintain a valid medical license in at least one state and all required certifications.
  • Allocate approximately 60% of time to Musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology and 40% to general radiology.
  • Participate in the education of radiology residents, medical trainees, students, and fellows.
  • Present at conferences, didactics, tumor boards, and specialty-specific meetings.
  • May engage in research projects related to musculoskeletal imaging.
Qualifications
  • ABR-certified (or ABR-eligible) with additional fellowship training in Musculoskeletal imaging preferred.
  • Proficiency in clinical radiology with an understanding of how subspecialists function.
  • Ability to perform joint injections, arthrograms, and joint aspirations.
  • Valid unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
  • Current BLS certification and maintenance of all required clinical privileges.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Work Schedule

Mon - Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary (up to $400,000 annually) + annual performance bonus + regular salary increases.
