The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC), in Rochester, NY, is seeking an additional full- or part-time, onsite radiologist to join the musculoskeletal division.
The Department of Imaging Sciences is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join the division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. We are the only Level 1 trauma center within the Rochester region. The Division of Musculoskeletal imaging is primarily centered at the new Advanced Orthopedics Center, located in the repurposed Marketplace Mall. The center includes advanced imaging (CT, MRI, US), ambulatory surgery, physical therapy, and a soon-to-open outpatient Orthopedics clinical tower.
The Department is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic imaging technologies, including dual-energy CT, PET/MRI, and more. Our Musculoskeletal Division offers a wide range of diagnostic services and image-guided procedures, including interpretation of 100% subspecialty MSK radiology using the latest technology in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Radiography, Conventional CT, Cone Beam CT, Dual Energy CT, MRI, and US. Our experienced MSK radiologists perform and supervise fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided joint injections, joint aspirations, and CT and MRI arthrography. We collaborate closely with the Orthopedic, Pathology, and Rheumatology Departments, hold interdepartmental conferences and tumor boards, and actively engage in education for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a New York State Medical License, be fellowship-trained or have equivalent experience, and participate in procedures (if onsite), teaching, research, and service.
