Job summary

Spooner in Surprise, AZ is seeking a licensed physical or occupational therapist to join our musculoskeletal care team. You will deliver high-quality care, combining manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to restore function and reduce pain for patients of all ages.

As a full-time clinician, you will participate in onboarding, ongoing education, and collaboration with physicians and other therapists to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes in a supportive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a physical or occupational therapist.
• Graduate Degree in PT/OT or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions.
• Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their best.
• Take a whole-body approach to locate the source of a patient’s injury, pain, or dysfunction.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients to prevent future injuries.
• Help patients of all ages and abilities move better and feel better.
• Evaluate and develop treatment goals with patients using clinical observations and patient-provided information.
• Support patients in achieving their goals through documenting treatment effects and adjusting treatment when necessary.
