Join to apply for the Munitions Systems Specialist role at Colorado Air National Guard.

The Colorado Air National Guard is a state-based military force supporting domestic needs and overseas conflicts.

Part-time service requires one weekend a month and two weeks a year, after required military training.

About us

The 140th Wing, headquartered at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, comprises over 1600 personnel supporting multiple operational missions. The wing operates F-16C+ Fighting Falcon aircraft under Air Combat Command, stands alert 24/7 to protect the central U.S., and manages space missions including an early-warning Mobile Ground System at Greeley Air National Guard Station, a space control squadron at Peterson Space Force Base, and supports US Pacific Command with a civil engineering flight.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage hazardous materials through quality, surveillance, and inventory processes.
  2. Maintain and recondition munitions, including bombs, missiles, demolition, small arms, and components.
  3. Use systems and information technology to collect, input, process, and analyze data.

Qualifications

You must be aged 17–42, a U.S. citizen, and have a qualifying ASVAB score. High school students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.

Salary and Benefits
