Job summary

EEC Solutions seeks a Munitions Specialist to provide ammunition management support to the USARCENT G4, including forecasting, stock control, and distribution planning across USCENTCOM AOR.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active SECRET clearance; preferred candidates have theater munitions experience and the ability to coordinate with depots and commands. This position is contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of ammunition or munitions management experience in Army or Joint logistics.
  • Theater or ASCC-level munitions management experience strongly preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship and active SECRET clearance required at time of hire.
  • Ammunition management and explosive safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Class V requirements determination, forecasting, authorizations, and ammunition allocations.
  • Maintain asset visibility across APS and theater stocks.
  • Support munitions distribution, retrograde, and redistribution planning with depots and commands.
  • Maintain accountability records and reconcile discrepancies with research and analysis.
  • Coordinate explosive safety and licensing compliance with authorities.
  • Prepare readiness and stockage posture reports and command briefings.
  • Support contingency munitions planning including basic load computations.
  • Complete required DoD training within stated timelines.

Job description

EEC Solutions is looking for a Munitions Specialist for HQ USARCENT. Note: We are seeking resumes for a proposal opportunity. This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates currently living in a HubZone designated area are encouraged to apply.

Summary Of Responsibilities

This position provides ammunition and munitions management support to the USARCENT G4, managing Class V requirements, accountability, stockage, and distribution planning across the USCENTCOM AOR including Army Prepositioned Stock and theater reserve stocks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage Class V requirements determination, forecasting, authorizations, and training ammunition allocations.
  • Perform ammunition item management and maintain asset visibility across APS and theater reserve/operational stocks in Southwest Asia.
  • Support munitions distribution, retrograde, and redistribution planning in coordination with supporting depots and subordinate commands.
  • Maintain accountability records; research and reconcile discrepancies, causative research, and adjustment documents.
  • Coordinate explosive safety, storage compatibility, and licensing compliance matters with the appropriate safety authorities.
  • Prepare munitions readiness and stockage posture reports, analyses, and command briefings.
  • Support exercise and contingency munitions planning, including basic load and combat load computations.
  • Complete all contractrequired training and reporting: AT Level I and iWATCH within 30 calendar days, TARP annually, DoD IA awareness training with ATCTS registration, and daily PERSTAT input.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education
  • Associate's degree minimum; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field preferred. Four (4) additional years of directly relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
Required Experience
  • Minimum four (4) years of ammunition or munitions management experience in Army or Joint logistics.
  • Theater or ASCClevel munitions management experience strongly preferred.
Required Certifications / Licenses
  • Ammunition management and explosive safety training preferred.
Special Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active SECRET clearance required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications (optional)
  • Former Army 89A Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist, 89B Ammunition Specialist, or 890A Ammunition Warrant Officer.
  • Proficiency with TAMIS, WARS, SAASMOD, LMP, or NLT.
  • Prior APS5 or Southwest Asia munitions experience.
