The City of Prattville is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain and repair streets and infrastructure. Responsibilities include operating motor graders, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and related equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience with heavy construction equipment, holds a valid driver's license, and can work outdoors in varying weather conditions to keep city streets in good repair.

Formación

• Two (2) years' experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment and vehicles.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of safety best practices for street maintenance and equipment operation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect equipment prior to use and perform minor maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks (grader, excavator, loader, backhoe, etc.).
• Transport equipment to job sites and load/unload materials.
• Inspect job sites for hazards before operating equipment.
