Job description

The City of Clayton Public Works Department is seeking applicants for the Municipal Service Technician I - Business Area position. This role involves performing unskilled manual labor to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the Business District, identifying and reporting potential code violations, supporting general Public Works operations, and serving as a liaison for issues requiring attention from neighboring agencies. About the Department

The Public Works Department's mission is to Provide exceptional service and sustainable infrastructure that promotes valued neighborhoods. The department is divided into four divisions: Engineering and Administration, Operations, Facilities Maintenance, and Fleet Services. This position is based in the Operations Division, responsible for maintaining and repairing streets, alleys, sidewalks, parking facilities, streetlights, traffic control, forestry, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and leaf collection.

  • Starting salary: $47,632.00
