Job summary

Garver is seeking a Project Manager to lead the River Valley Municipal team as part of our Transportation Group in Conway or Little Rock, Arkansas. The role emphasizes project management, client interaction, and coordination of sub-consultants for civil roadway design projects.

The candidate will oversee plan production, cost estimates, and potentially contribute to proposals, letters of interest, and interviews. Strong communication and Proficiency with roadway design tools are essential.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 6–12 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, HCM, MUTCD.
  • Experience with MicroStation, Geopak or InRoads or other roadway design software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Careers: Municipal Project Manager – North Little Rock, Arkansas

Garver seeks a Project Manager that will serve as the River Valley Municipal Leader to join our growing Transportation Team in Conway or Little Rock, Arkansas to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Project management
  • Sub-consultant coordination
  • Project/task scheduling
  • Civil design
  • Plan production oversight
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Client interaction and development
  • Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.
Technical Experience
  • Geometric design for roadways
  • Drainage design
  • Construction sequencing and traffic control
  • Utility relocation coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Six (6) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience
  • Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD)
  • Experience with MicroStation, Geopak or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on transportation projects
  • 3D Design experience
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arkansas, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hire
