Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass a technical skills test for Maintenance Technician.
• Must pass a reading comprehension test.
• Must complete a Mechanical Aptitude and Learning Aptitude test.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains pickup trucks and power mowers.
• May remove and replace street signs and posts.
• May perform general janitorial work including using mobilized scrubbing equipment.

Skills

Ability to operate simple hand tools and shop equipment

Effective communication skills

Ability to observe proper safety precautions

Heavy manual task performance

Ability to work from construction specifications

Skilled in operation of tools and equipment

Education

High school graduation or GED

Valid driver's license
