Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Municipal Engineer to lead design and oversight of roads, water and sewer systems for public projects in West Michigan. You’ll apply Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation to deliver compliant plans, manage budgets and coordinate with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years of municipal experience, and a PE license or near-term licensure, with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering; MS a plus.
• PE license preferred or working toward.
• 3+ years in municipal/civil projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise municipal infrastructure projects.
• Lead roadway, water, and sewer design and site development.
• Prepare estimates, schedules, and reports for officials.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors.
