Job summary

Point Design Group in Ohio is seeking a Municipal / Environmental Engineer to join our growing team. The role supports municipal infrastructure and environmental projects for public and private clients in the region, with P.E.

registration preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal or environmental engineering and be prepared to work on projects that improve communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field is required or strongly preferred.
• P.E. registration is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure or related areas is a plus.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design and assist with municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway improvements.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Assist with environmental permitting, compliance, and regulatory coordination.
• Perform engineering calculations, field investigations, and site assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Support projects through planning, design, bidding, and construction.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with client communication.

The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal engineering, environmental engineering, or related infrastructure design and be interested in working on projects that directly improve the communities we serve. P.E. registration is preferred, but not required.
