Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a Municipal Engineer in the Madison, WI area to join our team designing infrastructure and taking ownership of projects. The role involves roadway and utility design, hydrologic modeling, and collaboration with project managers and senior engineers.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree with at least one year of municipal experience; EIT certification is a plus. Local travel and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 1+ year of municipal engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roadway design, site development design, and grading plans.
• Assist with utility design, including potable water, wastewater, and stormwater.
• Hydraulic / hydrologic modeling.
• Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers.
• Preparing reports, technical memoranda, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, studies, permits.
