Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs is seeking a Development Services Manager-Engineering to lead the Development Services department in overseeing plan and engineering study reviews in line with town growth goals and standards. The role coordinates with multiple Town divisions and external agencies to ensure cohesive engineering operations.

Reports to the Division Manager and supervises staff, with a work schedule that follows business hours plus occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible municipal engineering including review and design with municipal utilities, transportation, stormwater, and land disturbance.
• Two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development review process for plan and engineering study review in accordance with growth goals, ordinances and standards.
• Coordinates engineering activities with Town departments, divisions, and affected agencies.
• Manages budget processes and prepares budget documents for operational expenses.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to staff, conducts performance reviews, and handles personnel actions.
