Gfoat in Richardson, TX is seeking a Civil Engineer to interpret city ordinances and design standards for land development, including water, sewer, drainage and paving. You will manage development reviews, design and permitting for commercial and residential projects, and assist with infrastructure initiatives.

The role requires four years of professional civil engineering experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

Competenze

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Texas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Minimum four (4) years of professional civil engineering experience, preferably with a municipality or county government.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and Bluebeam; AutoCAD experience is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Review civil engineering plans and related development plans for conformance to City codes and standards.
• Manage development projects including ROW/easement coordination, escrow/participation costs, construction monitoring, reports, plan reviews and contract administration.
• Prepare analyses of water, sewer, and drainage capacities for development projects.
• Respond to inquiries from the public, staff, property owners, and developers about codes and procedures.
• Attend Plan Commission meetings when needed and coordinate with other agencies.
