Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in project management, civil engineering, construction management, architecture, public administration, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in construction project management, public works construction administration, capital project delivery.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver's license by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as construction project manager for capital improvement projects, coordinating consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare bid documents, contracts, and specifications; participate in procurement and contract administration.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates; monitor progress and compliance with plans.
