Job summary

Key Construction seeks a Project Manager for our Municipalities team in the DFW area who brings a positive outlook and dedication to projects. The candidate will oversee preconstruction through turnover, manage scope, budget, and quality, and build strong client relationships.

Requirements include 10+ years of PM experience (or equivalent), PM experience on Fire/Police stations, and strong communication and leadership skills. Local travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years of verifiable project management experience may substitute for a degree or a combination of education and experience.
• PM experience on Fire Stations, Police Stations, etc. is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist preconstruction with estimates and detailed project plans.
• Participate in development and delivery of project proposals.
• Champion the project turnover from preconstruction to construction.
• Participate in scope comparisons, vendor selections, and contract administration.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Oversee project construction to ensure compliance with contract, codes, and safety regulations.
• Perform project reviews to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Provide status reports on milestones, budget, deliverables, deficiencies, risks and issues.
