Job summary

ISG, Raleigh, NC, invites a Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team. You will lead municipal engineering projects covering water, wastewater, utilities, and roadway design, while serving as the primary client contact.

The role involves coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and delivering on budget, schedule, and contracts. Travel across ISG’s footprint may occur; private aircraft support is available for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with direct client contact and project management.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and hands-on municipal engineering work (designs, reports, studies).
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical municipal engineering project activities focused on water systems, wastewater systems, utilities and roadway design.
• Serve as primary client contact.
• Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among other members in all necessary disciplines.
• Deliver projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitments.
• Work closely with permitting agencies.
