Job summary

W3Global seeks a Civil Engineer to join our Seattle municipal projects team. Work on water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and site civil improvements for public clients.

Responsibilities include designing, calculating, and reporting; coordinating with project teams; permitting; site visits; and budget/schedule adherence. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of experience are preferred; PE license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Assist planning and design of municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and site civil projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, drafters, subconsultants, and agencies.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation.
• Support permitting and regulatory coordination at local, state, and federal levels.
• Review submittals, RFIs, pay requests, and other construction documentation.
• Participate in project and client coordination meetings.
