Fishbeck is actively seeking a creative and talented Civil Engineer to join our Lansing, MI office and help serve our municipal clients. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of municipal projects involving water mains, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and local roads. What You’ll Work On
  • Design water main, sanitary and storm sewer, and road projects for local municipalities.
  • Perform design calculations, quantify bid items, develop cost estimates, and prepare reports.
  • Execute CAD drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Support bidding and construction phase services, including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and as-built drawings.
  • Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver consulting services to municipalities, universities, and private development clients.
  • Engage daily with multidisciplinary project teams in a dynamic, multi-office environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in the design of water main, sanitary sewer, and road projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
