Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates is seeking a client-focused municipal engineer to join our team and manage relations with clients while contributing to a broad range of municipal projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain client relations, attend public meetings, supervise plan reviews, and work with staff to ensure projects meet approvals. Evening meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineer with seven years’ experience in design and management of municipal projects.
• Experience building and maintaining client relations and involvement in business development.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relations and attend client meetings.
• Attend public meetings as municipal engineer representative.
• Conduct or supervise plan reviews for subdivisions and land developments.
• Manage and design infrastructure projects such as roadways, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water distribution, parks and recreation facilities.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, contracts and reports.
