Job summary

Artheon in Neptune, NJ seeks a Professional Civil Engineer to join a team delivering land development, infrastructure design, and municipal engineering projects.

Ideal candidate has 4–8 years of civil engineering design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and an Engineer-in-Training certification; PE license is a plus or obtainable. Collaboration, analytical thinking, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably municipal capital projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of stormwater software is a plus.
• EIT certification required; PE license a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design from concept through completion.
• Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to agencies, ensuring compliance.
• Review planning and zoning applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other disciplines.
• Attend project and municipal board meetings.
• Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations.
