Job summary

Artheon seeks a Professional Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Municipal department in East Brunswick, NJ. You will contribute to land development, infrastructure design, and municipal projects with a collaborative approach.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and an EIT certification; PE is a plus. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $115,000 per year, with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
• Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
