• Extensive (10+ years) senior financial management experience in government settings.
• Experience supervising budgeting, auditing, and accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Guide long-term financial strategies as principal advisor to County leadership.
• Direct and oversee General Fund, CIP, and diverse funding streams.
• Maintain AAA bond ratings through disciplined fiscal management.
• Forecast multi-year financials and align with capital plans and service needs.
• Enhance budgeting and performance systems for strategic planning.
• Leverage technology to increase financial data transparency.
• Strengthen internal controls and expand internal audit program.
• Optimize purchasing and stakeholder relations with agencies and county attorney.
