Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Boston is seeking a municipal bonds trader to execute purchases and sales of tax-exempt securities under direction from portfolio managers and senior traders. The role emphasizes SMA and institutional accounts and requires accurate market surveillance.

You will work on a trading desk in a high-paced environment with a client-centric approach, collaborating with internal teams.

Formación

• 1-2 years trading experience in Municipal bonds preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated team player with strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and good time management.
• Comfortable on a trading desk in a high-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Execute orders from the SMA business with emphasis on short and intermediate maturities.
• Assist Portfolio Managers in daily surveillance of SMA & Institutional Fixed Income Accounts and communicate key relative value.
• Execute cash trades for SMA, Mutual Funds & Institutional accounts.
• Interface between trading team and internal/external constituencies.
