Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
• Strong foundations in finance, modeling, fixed income and data science.
• Experience with fixed income securities, especially Municipal Bonds.
• Clear, logical thinker with strong quantitative skills under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Python and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Daily generation of securities valuations for multiple market closes with data collection, price generation, quality control, and client interaction.
• Explore product growth areas through self-guided research and client interactions with JPMorgan trading desks and teams.
• Improve product and service quality via market surveillance, data analysis, and process controls.
• Perform in-depth analysis on individual securities or portfolios and explain nuances to colleagues and clients.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated statistical models.
• Develop methodologies and infrastructure to speed valuations.
• Address client concerns daily with a focus on first-class service.
