Job summary

The Town of Manchester MD seeks a Town Administrator to lead day-to-day operations, plan and coordinate activities, and advise the Mayor and Council on policy decisions. Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with evidence of advanced training in business, accounting or related fields.
• A degree in management, business, or finance is advantageous.
• At least two years of experience in municipal government with budget development and data processing accounting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and directs day-to-day operations of the Town.
• Advises the Mayor and Town Council on legislative and policy matters.
• Oversees budgets and compliance across departments including Public Works, Finance, Planning & Zoning, HR and Administration.
