Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport a variety of goods and materials in dry vans from one location to another. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. All freight is drop and hook.
The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority.

HIRING SCHEDULES:

Shift 1: Monday-Friday 4:00 am-12:00 PM

Shift 2: Monday-Friday 12:30 PM-9:30 PM

Shift 3: Monday-Friday 9:00 PM- 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.
• Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
• Maintain detailed driving log, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses
• Comply with all company policies and driving laws

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Truck Driver is required
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Familiarity with GPS systems, CB radios, and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology
• Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
