Job summary

HHS Government Services, a federal government contractor, seeks a General Maintenance Worker to support facility operations at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. The role is full-time and hands-on, performing broad maintenance and repairs per contract standards and government facility requirements.

The candidate must obtain and maintain government installation access (DBIDS or equivalent) and pass a federal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general facilities maintenance or a related trade is required.
• Familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS or work order management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repair work across multiple trades.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify issues.
• Fabricate, repair, and replace structural and facility components as needed.
• Complete work orders accurately and document time, materials, and supplies in CMMS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment per OSHA and installation protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and installation personnel.
