Job summary

Walmart is hiring Developmental Technicians in General Facilities and Maintenance to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of stores, equipment, and fixtures. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep operations smooth.

Responsibilities include supporting stores with reactive repairs, completing work orders, and promptly addressing emergencies. CDL-eligible candidates with a HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in varying temperatures, and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check; CDL eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using craft skills and tools.
• Use work order system to receive, document, and complete repair tasks.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and verify repairs.
