TSP Contracting in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Skilled Construction Technician to support plumbing, carpentry, tile installation, restoration, and related trades.

This hands-on role requires 3–5 years of construction experience, the ability to read blueprints, follow safety rules, and work well both independently and as part of a crew.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience.
• Experience with remodeling, restoration, residential, and commercial projects.
• Experience in plumbing systems, fixtures, repairs, and piping.
• Carpentry including framing, trim work, cabinetry, drywall, and finish carpentry.
• Tile installation including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, waterproofing, layout, cutting, and grout installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, repair, restoration, and remodeling work as assigned
• Assist with demolition, installation, repairs, and project completion activities
• Follow project plans, specifications, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with Crew Leads, Project Managers, and team members
• Identify and report job site issues, material needs, or safety concerns
• Deliver quality workmanship while meeting project schedules
