Job summary

Temple College in Temple, TX is seeking a part-time tutoring assistant to provide tutoring across multiple subject areas and help students improve overall academic achievement. You will identify skill gaps, assist with coursework, and reinforce learning through effective study strategies.

The role supports both in-person and online learning, reports to the Math Lab Coordinator, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred. 19.5 hours/week, on-site position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide educational supplementation across math, reading, writing, sciences, and general education.
• Assist students with in-person and online learning platforms.
• Help students set, monitor, and achieve academic goals.
• Deliver tutoring services contributing to measurable educational improvement.
• Evaluate student performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain documentation and records; participate in trainings and meetings.
