Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a dependable Floater for our West Plains, MO facility on the 1st shift. The role supports production by filling in at various positions across the lumber yard, mill, and finish line as needed.

The ideal candidate will read tape measures accurately, understand work instructions, and work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to learn multiple roles within the production process.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Ability to read work instructions and labels.
• Efficient communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team and follow instructions.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties across multiple positions within lumber yard, mill, or finish line.
• Follow all specific responsibilities outlined in the job description for each role assigned.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards.
• Assist team members and support production goals.
• Must be able to accurately read tape measure to enable correct separation of wood.
• Must be able to quickly identify width variation in lumber.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervision or management.
