Job summary

NextGen Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Accountant II, Tax to manage timely and accurate preparation of sales and use tax data and other tax obligations.

You will assist with monthly tax data analysis, annual property tax filings, exemption certificates, and tax filings while coordinating with auditors and authorities. The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance/tax and 3+ years of multi-state tax experience; SAP/Vertex exposure is preferred, with strong Excel and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field.
• 3+ years of multi-state corporate tax experience.
• Experience with tax compliance software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly sales and use tax data.
• Assist in the preparation of annual property tax filings.
• Assist in gathering and reviewing sales tax exemption/resale certificates.
• Filing of business license, annual reports, and other tax filings.
• Monitor and update tax calendar.
• Assist in the preparation of annual 1099 IRS compliance.
